 Icebergology™ Life Groups

A Christ-centered formation practice that helps people grow beneath the surface—together.

The Icebergology™ Community is built on daily personal practice, shared language, and patient discipleship. Rather than starting with weekly meetings, participants begin by learning to notice what is happening beneath the surface of life and inviting Christ into what is real.

The Life Group flows from our foundation: Formation Begins with Allegiance.

How Icebergology™ Works

Icebergology™ is designed to unfold in a simple, intentional sequence. This protects the integrity of the work and allows formation to happen at a human pace.

We begin with daily personal practice, grow into shared community rhythms, and eventually multiply through local life groups led by trained facilitators.

This is not a program you rush through—it is a way of learning to walk with Christ beneath the surface of life.

Spiritual Formation

Grow deeper in Christ through Scripture reflection, prayer, and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit.

Honest Conversations

Experience a safe, confidential space for authentic dialogue about life, faith, and emotional growth.

Guided Insights

Discover how the Icebergology™ model reveals patterns and pathways to invite Christ beneath the surface.

Shared Community

Walk with others who are seeking honest growth—grace-filled encouragement and accountable support.

Biblical Authority

We anchor transformation in God’s inspired Word—true wisdom that renews the mind and strengthens faithfulness.

Transformed Living

Apply the truth to everyday life—new desires, renewed thoughts, and responsive behaviors by the Holy Spirit.

Step One: Daily Practice

All Icebergology™ formation begins with daily personal practice.

Participants use the Icebergology™ Daily Practice Journal to develop awareness, honesty, and surrender before God. This daily rhythm creates a shared language that makes community gatherings healthy, grounded, and focused.

You do not begin with a group.
You begin with attention.

Step Two: Formation Circle (Monthly)

The Formation Circle is a monthly gathering for those practicing Icebergology™ who desire shared reflection and orientation.

This gathering is:
• not therapy
• not group coaching
• not problem-solving

Instead, it is a gentle communal rhythm that reinforces the daily practice, clarifies shared language, and offers pastoral framing for the journey.

The Formation Circle serves as a bridge between personal practice and participation in Life Groups.

Icebergology™ Life Groups

Beginning in January 2027, Icebergology™ Life Groups are planned to begin forming in churches and local communities.

These groups will be built around a shared daily practice and facilitated by leaders who have completed Icebergology™ training and apprenticeship. Life Groups are designed to unfold slowly and relationally, emphasizing formation over performance.

Life Groups exist to help participants:

  • practice honest self-reflection before God

  • grow toward peace with God, self, and others

  • integrate faith, emotions, and relationships

  • walk patiently with one another in Christ

Icebergology™ Life Groups are not open weekly Zoom sessions and will not be led directly by Rob Jackson. Instead, they are intended to be planted locally through trained facilitators who steward the Icebergology™ framework with care and discernment.

If you would like to be notified when Life Groups begin, you can join the interest list below.

Facilitator Training & Apprenticeship

Facilitator Training & Apprenticeship

These Icebergology™ gatherings are reserved for Apprentice Facilitators—those discerning a call to steward this work for others.

This gathering exists for those discerning a call to:

  • facilitate Icebergology™ Life Groups

  • plant groups in their churches or communities

  • steward the language and posture of the model faithfully

This is not a personal growth group and not a general membership meeting. It is a training and apprenticeship space focused on formation, discernment, and leadership preparation.

Participation in Facilitator Apprenticeship is application-based.

Participation Pathways

Icebergology™ offers several ways to participate, depending on where you are in the journey:

Daily Practice – For those beginning personal formation
Formation Circle (Monthly) – For shared reflection and orientation
Facilitator Training & Apprenticeship – For those preparing to lead and multiply groups
Life Groups – For local, weekly community support in churches (Beginning in late 2026)

Each pathway builds on the one before it. Not everyone is called to lead—but everyone is invited to practice.

 You're Not Alone

Every person has a story—and every story carries a need for soul care.
Some carry grief. Some carry regret. Some carry habits they can’t break or wounds they struggle to name.
All are met here with grace, truth, and the hope of Christ.

If you’re weary of managing life on the surface and ready to attend to what lies beneath,
we’re ready to walk with you.

Why This Structure Matters

Formation happens best when we slow down, practice faithfully, and grow together with clarity and trust. By beginning with daily practice and moving patiently toward community and leadership, Icebergology™ seeks to protect people from performance, pressure, and spiritual shortcuts—while cultivating depth, humility, and peace.
