Pastors carry what no one else sees. The marriage coming apart. The confidence no one else knows. The weight accumulates quietly, and the people who carry it are usually the last to ask for help.
The Formation Access Fund exists so that cost is not the reason someone goes without formation — a pastor who needs care, a believer overseas who can’t afford the materials, a leader who needs training their church can’t fund.
Gifts are undesignated and directed by IGI where the need is greatest.

Where the Fund is working now
5-Day Clinical Formation Intensive
Five days of Christ-centered clinical formation, delivered by Icebergology LLC, for pastors, ministry leaders, and Christian workers navigating the particular weight of vocational ministry. Individual and group sessions, the Icebergology™ framework, and a formation plan they leave with. Spouses attend at no additional cost.
The Fund also underwrites the cost of formation materials for partner churches overseas, where local print costs exceed what believers can pay. As IGI grows, the Fund will support additional work that removes cost as a barrier to formation.
Who receives it
Pastors, counselors, missionaries, chaplains, and Christian workers who are actively serving and who face a real financial barrier. Applications are reviewed by the IGI Scholarship Review Committee.
How awards are decided
Every application is scored against the same criteria and decided by the Committee. Funds are limited, so not every applicant receives an award, and awards often cover part rather than all of the cost.
What recipients bring
Applicants contribute what they honestly can. Not as a barrier — because ownership is part of the work.
How the money moves
Awards reduce the cost of care. Nothing is disbursed as cash.

A pastor who needs this rarely has $7,500. Most have nowhere near it. Your gift closes that distance.
A full intensive costs $7,500 — one example of what the Fund makes possible. Smaller gifts pool to do the same work, and because recipients contribute what they can, most awards cost the Fund considerably less.
About your gift
Icebergology Global Institute operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Discovery Ministries Network, a registered 501(c)(3). Gifts are made to DMN, designated for IGI’s Formation Access Fund, and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive a receipt from DMN.
DMN charges no administrative fee — every dollar they receive for this Fund goes to the Fund. Card and online gifts have a processing fee deducted by the payment processor before the gift reaches us. The Clinical Formation Intensive is delivered by Icebergology LLC, which is owned by Rob Jackson, IGI’s founder. We think you should know that. Every award is decided by the IGI Scholarship Review Committee, and Rob does not vote on applications.
