Making facilitator training reachable for churches and leaders who could not otherwise take part.
Icebergology Global Institute · Giving
Every gift underwrites access — for a pastor or vocational Christian leader who cannot afford the help they need, for a congregation building soul care from the inside out, for a translator making this work available in a language it has never existed in before.
What your gift does
Gifts to the Formation Access Fund are undesignated and board-directed โ they go where the need is most acute rather than where the marketing is loudest. Four kinds of work draw on it:
Making facilitator training reachable for churches and leaders who could not otherwise take part.
Supporting the people who carry this work in their own contexts — currently the Philippines, with additional regions in development.
Underwriting the cost of putting the framework into other languages and printing it locally, where it is needed and affordable.
Funding pastors, Christian counselors, and other vocational Christian leaders into multi-day clinical formation intensives when they are carrying more than a weekend retreat can hold.
An invitation
IGI does not run campaigns or countdowns. The people who give to this work tend to be people who have been formed by it, or who recognize what it is for because they have needed it themselves. If that is you, we would rather you understood the work before you funded it.
Give once, or write and ask questions first — that is a good place to start too. If you would like to give monthly, tell us and we will set it up with you directly.

Give
First, tell us who you are. This is how we know to thank you, keep you informed, and make sure your contribution receipt reaches you. Gifts arrive at our fiscal sponsor without contact details attached, so without this step we may have no way to reach you.
Second, complete your gift through Disciple Makers Network, the registered 501(c)(3) that sponsors this work.

How your gift is handled
The Icebergology Global Institute is not yet an independent 501(c)(3). Gifts are made to Disciple Makers Network, a registered 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 45-2733655), and restricted to the work of IGI. Disciple Makers Network retains legal control of the funds, as required of any fiscal sponsor.
Disciple Makers Network charges no administrative fee on gifts to this project. Gifts by check or bank transfer reach the work in full or nearly so. Card gifts carry a processing fee charged by the payment processor, deducted before the gift is passed through. If you would like as much of your gift as possible to reach the work, choose “US bank account” at checkout, or send a check.
Clinical Formation Intensives are delivered by the founder's practice at its standard published rate, under a related-party policy approved in advance by our fiscal sponsor. Scholarship decisions are made by a review committee from which the founder is fully recused.
Your official contribution receipt comes from Disciple Makers Network, since they are the organization receiving your gift. IGI will send you a personal thank-you, but that letter is not a tax document. If your receipt does not arrive, tell us and we will follow up on your behalf.
We use what you share to thank you, to keep you informed about the work, and to make sure your receipt reaches you. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor information with anyone. You can ask to be removed from our list at any time and we will do it without asking why.
Questions first?
If you would rather understand the work before you fund it, that is a good instinct. Write to us and we will answer plainly — including the things that are still unfinished.
